Which letters stay plain in this generator?+
Just q. This generator's broadly supported superscript set has no dependable q glyph, so it leaves q readable instead of risking a missing-character box. The other a–z letters and all ten digits have raised forms here; capital input intentionally reuses the same modifier letters.
Does superscript work in Word, Excel and Google Docs?+
Usually — pasted characters keep their raised look when the document font contains them. Those apps also have native superscript formatting controls, which scale any font properly and stay searchable; prefer native formatting inside documents and use these characters where formatting isn't available.
Why do the superscript digits look inconsistent?+
¹, ² and ³ come from the old Latin-1 character set while ⁰ and ⁴–⁹ were added later in dedicated superscript blocks — so different fonts draw them at slightly different weights. It's cosmetic; all of them copy and paste fine.
